Clermont goes on mini cow safari

Whispering Oaks Miniature Ranch in Clermont is offering Mini Cow Safaris this spring.

Half-hour tours of the ranch will take place in a Conestoga wagon that will take guests out to the pastures. Guides will teach about the six different miniature cow breeds and the Highland cow breed raised on the ranch. There will be stops along the route for guests to get close to the more than 50 miniature Highland cows with names like Jolene and Phoebe, six breeds of micro and mini cows, and a few miniature donkeys. The guides will also discuss the ranch's cattle operation. Photo opportunities will be available throughout the adventure.

Those who run businesses like this often have pictures taken during the tours that go to Print shops to be added to advertising materials.

Tickets will be available for $24.83 for kids from three to twelve years old, and $26.90 for adults. Admission will be free for children younger than three. Buckets of food for the animals will be $5.18. Parking will cost $10.35.

The Mini Cow Safaris is taking place on Saturdays and Sundays for the rest of January, throughout February, and up until March 8. Timeslots will be 9:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm.

Mini Cow Safaris will be at Whispering Oaks Miniature Ranch, 8100 Jameson Farm Road.
