Clermont runs two 5ks

Clermont's AdventHealth is presenting its first annual AdventHealth Elevate 5k Corporate Challenge. This, and an Ugly Pajama 5k Run, are both scheduled for late January.

Touted as “Lake County’s largest office party on the run”, the 5k Corporate Challenge will be a blend of team-building, networking and fitness.

The scenic course for the 5k Corporate Challenge will be along Lake Minneola shoreline on the South Lake Trail.

Both individual in-person and virtual adult registrations are $40 and will be available until 7:30 am January 24th. Corporate teams or social groups must register by January 17th.

Swag will include a commemorative event shirt, race bib, and finisher certificate.

Many organizers for races like this often get their paper products like race bibs, and certificates printed at nearby Print shops.

The first AdventHealth Elevate 5k Corporate Challenge will take place Saturday, January 24th at Victory Pointe Park, 1050 Victory Way beginning at 9:00 am.

The next Saturday, the park will have an Ugly Pajama 5k Run with runners and walkers out in their most ridiculous pjs running or walking with their dogs. Those without either are also welcome.

The charity partner for this race will be Florida Giant Dog Rescue.

Regular registration for in-person and virtual runners and walkers until January 24th is $35 including race shirts ($30 if not), and $40 for late in-person registration until the 30th. Swag will be finisher medals and event race shirts.
