The inaugural Clermont Art and Jazz Festival will be coming to Clermont in mid-April.
This new event will be a two-day celebration of visual arts, live jazz and food and music-focused vendors. One of its highlights will be a curated artisan marketplace. Guests are invited to stroll through the marketplace viewing original pieces, talking with the creators and buying items they particularly enjoy.
Artisans that sell at events like this often create their own Business Cards to reflect their creative styles and have them printed at local Print shops.
Programming will be a blend of contemporary, smooth, and traditional jazz styles. Musicians featured on Saturday will be award-winning African American vocalist, saxophonist and composer, Walter Beasley and funk and jazz band, Ghost Note featuring drummer Robert "Sput" Searight, a Grammy award winner. On Sunday, the festival line up will include Clermont's own saxophonist, Craig Crawford, chart-topping, jazz flutist Kim Scott and internationally acclaimed contemporary jazz composer and pianist, Keiko Matsui.
General admission will be $10 per day or $15 for the two-day pass. These tickets will be good for the jazz performances, art marketplace, specialty and food vendor areas and all festival grounds.
Sponsorships are available from $1000 to $25,000. Exclusive branded sponsors include Wine and Spirits, Brass and Brews, Ticketing and Photo booth.
The Clermont Art and Jazz Festival will take place Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19th from 3:00 pm 9:00 pm at Waterfront Park, 330 3rd Street.
