Clermont will be celebrating the holiday season beginning with Clermont Celebrates, the Holiday Light Show, and Shop Small Saturday in late November, as well as this year's Clermont Christmas parade in early December.
Downtown Clermont will kick off the season with its annual Clermont Celebrates. There will be snow, live music, a kids’ zone, local vendors, and Santa sightings. It will take place on Saturday, November 22nd from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at 752 West Montrose Street. Admission will be free.
The downtown area also invites everyone to Shop Small Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on the following Saturday, November 29, in order to support local small businesses and artisans. Artisans and small businesses that participate in special sales events like this often slip seasonal Business Cards in with purchases.
The Florida Citrus Towner will once again be draped with thousands of Christmas lights synchronized to classic holiday music. The Florida Citrus Towner Holiday Light Show will begin on Saturday, November 29. Shows will be from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Finally, on Saturday, December 6 beginning at 10:00 am, Historic Downtown Clermont will hold its annual Clermont Christmas Parade. Marching bands, floats, and local groups will be stepping off at Waterfront Park and marching through downtown, ending near West Montrose Street. This year's theme will be Christmas of Champions.
