The Greater Clermont Cancer Foundation will be presenting its 5th Annual Clermont Music Festival in a couple of weeks. The theme of this year’s free outdoor event will be a ‘Celebration of Hope’ and over 4,000 people are expected to attend.
Dozens of local musicians will be donating their time and talents to entertaining the festival guests on three stages – one on 3rd Street, one on 4th Street, and one on the patio at the Highlander Hut. Music genres will include blues, jazz, country, classic and Southern rock, bluegrass, folk, pop, musical theatre, choral, and classical. Everyone is encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs and stay all day.
Food tents, carts and trucks, and arts and craft vendors will be selling their wares in the streets. There will be a Kids’ Zone where little ones can enjoy many activities such as bounce houses. Sponsor and vendor Banners will be on tables, on the stages and overhead throughout the site.
VIP passes will include special parking privileges, two T-Shirts and entrance to the Hospitality Lounge in the Highlander Hut.
All proceeds from this event will go to the Greater Clermont Cancer Foundation, which assists cancer patients with emotional support, scholarships, financial grants, and educational awareness.
Music Fest 2017 will Saturday, October 14 from noon until 10:00 pm at Waterfront Park, 100 3rd Street, Clermont.
