Garden events in bloom in Clermont

Clermont’s Garden Club will be hosting its 18th Garden Walk in mid-April, followed by its 5th annual Spring Garden Festival in early May.

The Garden Walk will be a tour through gardens of private residences. The self-guided tours will begin at 849 West Avenue on Sunday, April 15 at the Clermont Garden Club House, and run from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Advanced tickets are available for $15, and admission on event day will be $20.

During the Spring Garden Festival, guests will be invited to meander through the vendor area enjoying, viewing, and purchasing plants, nature-inspired products, and yard art, and reacquainting themselves with the local non-profit organizations. The clubhouse will be open for a raffle of items valued at $25 and above donated by the vendors.

Occasionally a vendor at events such as this may have a floral Logo Design advertised on purchaser plastic Bags.

Three sponsorship levels are available – Bronze (minimum of $100), Silver (minimum of $500) and Gold (minimum of $1,000). All sponsors will be listed in the event’s advertisements and receive acknowledgement letters for tax purposes.

Proceeds will go to sending elementary school-aged children to Wekiva Youth Camp and high school students to an environmental weekend conference - Saving Earth's Environment through Knowledge (SEEK).

Clermont Garden Club’s Spring Garden Festival has been scheduled for Saturday, May 6 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at 849 West Avenue.
