Garden event looks ahead to the summer

Green-fingered locals will be crossing off the days until the 4th annual Central Florida Landscape and Garden Fair, which takes place over two days this April.

The fair is presented by the

Lake County Board of County Commissions, the IFAS Extension Commissioners, and the University of Florida's Master Gardeners. It will offer a variety of vendors representing landscape gardeners, irrigation and fertilizer experts, and horticulturalists. There will be several plant vendors, exhibits from community organizations and expert speakers. Along with plenty of fun activities for the children, a food truck and will also be on hand, as will a number of vendors selling Edibles.

Vendors paid from $25 up to $140 in order to participate in the fair. Sponsorships are still available from $250 to $750; sponsors will be recognized on all advertising materials and in the program that will be distributed to attendees.

Organizers will probably use products like Posters and Flyers to advertise this upcoming event in Lake County, including nearby Clermont. Local Print companies are often asked to provide these.

The Central Florida Landscape and Garden Fair will be held at Discover Gardens in Tavares on April 18 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm and April 19 from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. Admission is free. To learn more about the fair, or to become a sponsor or advertiser, contact Anna Perez at 352-343-4101.
