Fundraiser to benefit local hospital foundation

The first annual Starry Night Charity Gala is taking place this March as a benefit for the South Lake Hospital Foundation.

A semi-formal attire event, organizers hope to raise $100,000 in this inaugural gala. They plan to do this through ticket sales, sponsorships, and silent and live auctions.

Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, a buffet dinner, and live musical entertainment from the Z Street Band. There will also be many items to bid on that have been donated by area businesses and individuals.

Funds raised at this event will go to support the South Lake Hospital for Robotic Surgery, the Centre for Women's Health, and several youth fitness initiatives at the LiveWell Campus.

In addition to being a fundraising event, business leaders, philanthropists, and hospital administrators from all over the area, including nearby Clermont, may also use this as a networking opportunity. With that in mind, many of them might be placing a new digital business card printing order with the favorite Print company.

The Starry Night Charity Gala will be held at the Magnolia House at Trilogy in Groveland on March 21 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Tickets are $150 each. To find out more information about this event, to become a sponsor, or to donate an item to the auctions, contact Sheri Olson at 352-536-8771.
