Florida runs into 2021

Florida Runs at Lake Louisa State Park has been rescheduled for the end of January. Everyone is invited to walk, run, or cheer on those who partake in the upcoming trail run.

Participants can choose to run one of the three distances options, which are a 5K, Half Marathon, and 10K. The course will take runners through the wildlife, lakes, rolling hills, and vast terrain of Lake Louisa State Park.

Races will be professionally chip-timed and race swag includes finisher medals. Half Marathon and 10K awards go to the top three female and male finishers in 14 age categories, and to the first, second and third female and male Overall Challenged Athlete. Awards for the 5K will go to the top three female and male overall finishers.

Registration on race day will be $85 for the Half Marathon, $75 for the 10K, and $40 for the 5K. Spectators at events like this often get some banner printing done to encourage their favorite runners.

The Half Marathon begins at 7:45 am, the 10K at 7:55 am, and the 5K at 8:05 am on January 30, 2021. Awards for the 5K will start at approximately 8:45 am, the 10K awards at 9:45 am, and the Half Marathon awards will be presented at 10:45 am.
