Clermont wines and dines on seafood

The 10th anniversary of the Wine and Seafood Festival is coming in a few weeks.

Guests will want to bring their appetites for grilled, fried and steamed seafood. Some of the grilled selections will be bacon wrapped scallops, alligator skewers, Maryland Crab Cakes and Mahi-Mahi. In the fried category will be oysters, calamari, shrimp and clams. Crab legs, mussels, lobster tails and middle neck clam will be on the steamed menu. The regular food pavilion will be offering the standard Greek, American, Mexican and BBQ.

The outdoor stage will be featuring top local bands playing jazz, blues, rock and pop. Opening night will have the Jeff Whitfield Band and the Ron Duncan Band; the second will feature TDB and the Mike Quick Band, and the final evening will be the Dave Capp Project and Shawline.

Upstairs in the venue’s wine shop, guests can enjoy a wine and cheese bar. The entertainment there will be Crenshaw, Joe Hand and Jeff Whitfield.

There will be an arts and crafts show where local artisans display handmade crafts and fine art. These artists and craft people will be getting some Business Cards printing done soon with their latest information. The Business Cards will be distributed to attendees for future custom-made orders.

The Wine & Seafood Festival will take place Friday, March 23rd and 24th from 10 am until 5pm, and March 25th from 11 am until 5 pm at Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards, 19239 U.S. 27, Clermont.
