The Taste of the Caribbean and Jerk Festival is being held this June in Clermont. Hosted by the Caribbean American Association of Lake County and the City of Clermont, the event is held in honor of Caribbean American Heritage Month.
With entertainment very much at its core, attendees can enjoy steel bands, musical performances, Indian dancers and DJs, with some of the performers slated to appear being the 506 Crew, DJ Phayz, Vibrant Sound, and Jean Myer. The Kidz Zone will feature plenty of activities, such as face painting, a bounce house, and games. There will also be health information, as well as vendors selling food, arts and crafts, and general merchandise.
Those who are handy in the kitchen may partake in a Chicken Jerk Cook-Off. Anyone is allowed to enter, although they must provide their own grills, utensils, and generator, and pay an entrance fee of $25 per person.
To advertise this Clermont event, it is possible local Print companies were asked to provide a flyer to be distributed all over the city and its surrounding areas.
The Taste of the Caribbean and Jerk Festival will take place at Clermont Waterfront Park on June 13 from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm. Tickets are $7 for adults, or $2 for kids aged 10 or younger. To find out more, or to enter the cook-off, call 352-978-0813.Get a Free Quote for Print
