The 29th Annual Light Up Clermont Toyland has become a local tradition, and this year the two-day event will be coming early in December.
The Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will kick off the first evening. The tree, which will be located outside City Hall, will be donated by Duke Energy, and Clermont Kiwanis will provide the Center Lake Holiday displays.
Holiday music will be presented in the evening by local groups performing on the Main Stage. For those revelers who would rather be dancing, there will be dancing with a DJ spinning tunes at the Community Stage. Photos with Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be something the little ones especially will want to do, and prints may become this year’s Holiday Cards.
The Hometown Holiday Parade will begin at a new time this year. All parade slots have been filled and participants are getting their Banners, music, and uniforms ready for the big day.
The second day, the fun begins in the morning and goes until midafternoon. Crafts and food booths will be onsite and there will be live entertainment and music from local talents. The Montverde Academy will have free caroling lessons followed by a caroling concert in the evening.
Light Up Clermont will be from December 1 at 5:00 pm until December 2 at 2:00 pm at Downtown Clermont, 685 W. Montrose Street, Clermont. The Parade will start at 10:00 am on December 2.Get a Free Quote for Holiday Cards Get a Free Quote for Banners
