Businesses, food and arts and crafts vendors still have time to reserve 10x10 booth spaces for the annual Clermont Sips and Salsa Festival slated for mid-September. The event is to celebrate salsa and our community.
Presented by South Lake Chamber of Commerce and the City of Clermont, the one-day festival will feature a domino tournament, Chihuahua races, and a salsa-making competition. Latin cuisine made with salsa and other Latin treats will be for sale. Kids will get their own Kids’ Zone with plenty of activities to keep the little ones busy.
DJ Sammy will emcee entertainment including salsa music and dancing on the Main Stage while DJ Guerrero will play classic Latin favorites over on the Community Stage. Some performers will be Mambo Lebron, Ivan Waldo, Yisel Gonzalez and Awilda Hernandez. Half-hour mini classes on dance and other Latin-related topics will also be on the Main Stage.
Clermont business representatives will be there handing out Business Cards and displaying their goods and services. Arts and crafters will also be displaying and vending their creations.
All sponsorships levels ($500 Contributing, $1000 Partnering, $2500 Premier and $3500 Presenting) will include the sponsor’s Logo Design on all event promotional materials and on the Chamber’s website.
The Sips and Salsa Festival will take place in Waterfront Park, 330 3rd Street from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Saturday, September 18th.
