Three concerts are scheduled for the first three weeks in January at the Clermont Performing Arts Center.
Liverpool Legends, a Beatles tribute band, will be returning to the Center on Friday, January 12th beginning at 7:00 pm. The members of the band have been selected by George Harrison’s sister and copy the Fab Four in all ways. Liver Pool Legends will be performing at the Mainstage Theater, 3700 S. Highway 27.
Atlantic Starr, a classic American R&B band and a comedy group will take the stage on January 13th at 7:00 pm. Some of the band’s well-known hits are Masterpiece, Everybody’s Got Summer, and I’ll Remember You. Guest stars will be Christine the Comedy Couger, Glenn Jones and the Franchise Players. Emceeing the performance will be Monica May, a Radio personality from Star 94.5 FM.
Jay and the American & Friends will perform Saturday, January 20th at 7:00 pm. With five Top Ten records and 18 charted hits, this 60’s group is known for oldies such as This Magic Moment, Walkin in the Rain, and Come a Little Bit Closer.
The Buckinghams’ original lead singer, Dennis Tufano will be performing some of their hits such as Kind of a Drag, Hey Baby They’re Playing Our Song, and Mercy, Mercy, Mercy. Rocky and the Rollers will sing Rock and Roll and Doo Wop.
