It is just about time for Clermont’s Light Up Clermont 2018. This will be the 30th year for the two-day event, the theme of which will be Holidays Around the World.
The community tree-lighting ceremony will once again kick-off the event.
Vendors spaces for both days were sold out before November 1. Local businesses will be passing out Business Cards, Promotional Products such as promotional Pens, coupons and other freebies. Artists and craftspeople will be selling their unique creations, and food vendors will have all those delicious winter festival goodies.
Then, there will be the Christmas Parade, which will march down the center of downtown Clermont. Many of the marching bands, civic organizations, color guards and dance squads are getting banner printing done in the next few weeks so they can introduce themselves to the spectators.
The event will close with the Clermont Arts and Recreation Center’s traditional Lessons and Carols ceremony.
The fun will be November 30 starting at 5:30 pm and December 1 ending at 2:00 pm at Waterfront Park, 330 3rd Street. The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 5:30 in Downtown Clermont at 685 W. Montrose, Clermont.
The Free Lessons and Carols Concerts will be at the Clermont Performing Arts Center at 3700 South Highway 27. Performances will be at 5:00 and 6:30 pm on December 1.
