Clermont holds three May festivals and a run

May events are popping up all over Clermont, starting this weekend.

This Saturday, May 4, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, Clermont Garden Club will be presenting its 6th annual Spring Garden Festival. Over 1,000 people are expected to meander through more than 35 vendors who will be selling plants, garden supplies, garden décor, and wildlife-related items. The festival will take place at 849 West Avenue.

Also, this Saturday and Sunday will see the Clermont Taco and Margarita Festival 2024 ushered in. Admission will be free, and guests can eat tacos from food trucks and local mobile kitchens, enjoy watching Lucha Libre professional wrestling, browse through vendors, and listen to live music entertainment while the younger guests try out the Kid Zone.

The Clermont Taco and Margarita Festival 2024 will be at Clermont Waterfront Park, 330 3rd Street between noon and 6:00 pm on both days.

Later in the month, the 2024 Clermont Reggae Festival will run from noon to 9:00 pm on Saturday, May 18 with live music by reggae artists and bands, raffles, food trucks, and vendors. The fun will be along the Lake Minneola Scenic Trail at The RasState, 9117 Jack Underwood Road.

Finally, friends of Lake Louisa State Park will be hosting a Do It Your Way 5k/Walk/Roll on Saturday, May 25 beginning at 7:00 am. Swag will include medals, age-group awards, T-Shirts sporting a two-turtle graphic design, and free native plants.
