Clermont has July options

The City of Clermont is presenting its free annual 4th of July Red, White and Boom again this year.

This will be a traditional Americana-type evening with activities for the kids, local arts and crafters, and vendors selling summer treats. Clermont businesses will be giving demonstrations, having displays of their goods and services and passing out Business Cards and coupons, and in some cases free Promotional Products. There will also be live music from Gary Roland and the Landsharks Band and free shuttle service. Fireworks over Lake Minneola will begin at 9:15 pm.

For more free entertainment in July, the July Summer Music Series will be on Saturday afternoons. An outdoor stage will feature the Ronnie Duncan Band the first week, Shawline the second and the Jeff Whitfield Band the third. Mike Quick Band will round out the July lineup.

Along with outdoor entertainment this venue will also have solo acts and music groups indoors at the Wine and Cheese Bar. These will be Beautiful Bobby Blackmon & the B3 Blues Band, a guitar and vocal group the Rusty & Laurie Wright Duo, Joe Hand and Jeff Whitfield.

Clermont’s Red, White and Boom will be Wednesday, July 4 from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm at Waterfront Park, 330 3rd Street.

The July Summer Music Series will be presented from noon until 4:00 pm every Saturday at the Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards, 19239 US 27 North.
