Many Clermont ghosts, goblins and families will be dressing in their Halloween finest and heading to Scaremont - Halloween on the Trail in late October.
The City of Clermont and the Clermont Police Department will be hosting the annual free Scaremont - Halloween on the Trail with trick or treat stations provided by local organizations. The event has been organized to provide a safe environment for trick-or-treaters and families.
Along with the candy stations the venue will offer Halloween-themed activates, a Creepy Clermont Costume contest and the outdoor movie Goosebumps beginning at 7:15 pm.
Those entering the Creepy Clermont Costume contest will need to enter themselves at the City of Clermont Tent. The contest will be free, and winners will be announced after the event on social media and online. Participants need to remember to keep their costumes family-friendly and not too scary. The contest will have two winning categories - Clermont's Costume Champion for the best costume, and Rightfully Fabulous Families for the best family costume.
Local Stationery printers are often given pictures taken at Halloween events like this to use on Halloween-themed cards.
Sponsorships are available at the $750 Photo booth, $1000 Trick or Treat Bag, $1500 Kids Zone, $2500 Movie and $5000 Presenting levels.
Scaremont will take place Tuesday, October 28th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Waterfront Park, 100 3rd Street.
