Clermont celebrates July 4th with family-friendly activities

Red, White and Boom is taking place this Independence Day in Clermont. It is presented by the City of Clermont.

There is set to be an evening filled with

lots of family activities and patriotic celebrations of the birthday of the country. There will also be live music from local performers, food and drinks for sale and a fireworks spectacular that will begin at 9:15 PM. It is recommended that those attending bring their own blanket in order to enjoy the evening's festivities.

There will also be a number of vendors on hand selling merchandise and arts and crafts; non-profit groups will be providing information about their programs and services. Organizers are still seeking those who wish to become vendors at this event. Local businesses, artisans and community organizations have until June 26 to apply to participate; fees are $50 for commercial businesses and arts and crafts vendors and $25 for non-profit organizations.

There is a good chance that many of those who are planning on being vendors at the evening event will be investing in services such as sign and banner printing from Clermont Stationery printers to bring more attention to their booth.

Red, White and Boom is taking place this July 4 at Waterfront Park. Admission is free. To find out more information or to become a vendor, contact Maritza Rivera at 352-394-3500.
