Santa’s Twilight 5K in Downtown Clermont will be coming a few days before Christmas.
Runners will receive event shirts with a colorful graphic design, stained glass finisher medals, entertainment, holiday cookies, and hot chocolate after the race.
The course will take participants through Downtown Clermont, across local trails and along residential streets. Since this will be a nighttime event, there will be plenty of holiday lights and lighted displays for the runners and walkers to enjoy as they go along the way.
Awards will go to the top three female and male finishers in each age division, to the three overall masters and a special award will be given for the best costume.
Registration fees will be $39 until December 21 and $45 on race day. Virtual runs will be $29 - this fee allows the registrant to run the distance at any time and place, submit their data, and still receive the shirt and medal. Fees for runners under 18 will be $5 off the adult price.
Packets can be picked up and late registration will be available at the star tent on City Hall Buildings west grass lot from 3:00 pm until 6:45 pm on race day.
Santa’s Twilight Run will be Saturday, December 21 starting at City Hall, 685 W. Montrose Street, at 6:00 pm and lasting until around 9:00 pm.
