Clermont begins holiday season

The holidays are almost here, and Clermont will begin the season with a tree walk, parade, tree lighting, and street party.

The annual Enchanted Forest of Trees will open November 23rd at Victory Point. Local businesses, families and organizations will be decorating over 70 Christmas Trees and Clermont families are invited to walk through them. This year's theme will be "Rockin Around the Christmas Tree", and awards will go to best overall, most creative, and best theme interpretation. This event will run until January 4th, 2025.

A Christmas Tree Lighting and Street party will take place in Downtown Clermont on December 6th, from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Holiday fun will include live music, food trucks, carolers, vendors and lighting of the tree at City Hall.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for photos. Families that take photos of their little ones with Santa so early in the season often take the pictures to local Stationery printers to have Christmas cards made.

Starting at 10:00 am, Clermont's 35th Annual Christmas Parade will be December 7th beginning at Waterfront Park and marching through historic Downtown Clermont. Awards will be given for most festive float, best Christmas vehicle, marching band, performing group and youth float.

Downtown businesses will be providing cookies and cocoa for guests as they visit The Enchanted Forest of Trees and local stores on December 13th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Victory Point stage will feature community acts.
