Metro Diner has plans to open Bradenton location

Following the opening of two Metro Diners in Sarasota County in March 2018, the restaurant chain has leased space in Bradenton at Pinebrook Commons.

Isram Realty Group is handling the property and Tammy Sassin, a leasing agent with the group, has said that she anticipates Pinebrook Commons will soon be entirely leased.

Banner printing services are often used by companies opening new locations, even before they are operational.

The Metro Diner will take up part of what had been Dollar General’s location, along with Massage Envy, which is another new tenant. That means a remaining couple of thousand square feet of the space is still available.

Anchored by Bealls Outlet, Pinebrook Commons recently agreed to a lease with Domino’s Pizza, which will occupy what was formally Fast Signs location on the center’s west side. Other tenants include Thai Palace, Eat Organico, Jay Liniz of State Farm, and Subway.

What was later to become Metro Diner, began in Jacksonville in 1938. The restaurant received its present name in 1992. Mark Davoli, a master chef, and his family took over the chain in 2,000. The menu was changed to one that embraces locally sourced ingredients to make innovative new dishes.

Bradenton’s first Metro Diner, which will also be Manatee County’s first, is expected to open in March 2019. An exact date for the opening has yet to be released.
