The 24th annual Bayfest will be held on Anna Maria Island near Bradenton next month. Anna Maria Island (AMI) is a barrier island in Manatee County off the coast of Bradenton, which can be accessed by bridge or ferry.
The festival is the largest annual event on the island, attracting hundreds of visitors each year, although the event had to be canceled in 2024 due to damage from hurricane Helene.
One of the festival highlights will be the classic car show, featuring hundreds of hot rods and muscle cars. Craft and art vendors will be on hand with their creations and visitors will find a number of food and beverage trucks offering refreshments. In addition, live music will be presented by local performers, including The Tropicats, Memphis Rub, Jack’s Up and the Dr. Dave Band. The event will be family-friendly with special children’s activities including crafts, games and face-painting.
Hosted each year by the AMI Chamber of Commerce, the all-day festival is free to attend. Organizations that present festivals such as this often have local Print shops create their advertising materials.
Bayfest will be held on October 18, 2025 from 10 am to 9 pm on Pine Avenue in Anna Maria, near Bradenton. The car show will run from 10 am to 3 pm. Further information, including a schedule of live music, is available online.
