Bradenton chamber of commerce speaks for itself

Bradenton area businesses can learn all about their local chamber of commerce at a member orientation session next month.

Chamber 101 Member Orientation will be open to both brand-new and long-time chamber members as a way to hear about the benefits of belonging to the long-standing organization.

Officially known as the Manatee Chamber of Commerce, it has grown from inception in 1889 to currently represent and advocate for over 2,100 businesses, with more than 68,000 employees. As part of its role, the chamber monitors policies from all levels of government that may have an effect on Bradenton businesses. The success of the organization has been repeatedly recognized as it is a five-time winner of the Florida Chamber of the Year Award.

At the orientation, chamber leaders will provide tips and information on how to grow a business, access important resources, and increase connections. Attendees can participate in a Jeopardy-style knowledge game with prizes to be awarded.

The event will also provide a networking opportunity for company owners and staff to meet each other and promote their products and services. Those who attend gatherings such as this often use Business Cards as a means of introduction.

Chamber 101 Member Orientation will be held on Thursday, September 25 from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm at the Manatee Chamber Bradenton location, 222 10th St. West.
