The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce is partnering with several other statewide organizations to host Navigating Delaware Pathways: An Education and Workforce Development Summit this spring.
The summit is intended for employers and higher education professionals. It will include several speeches and presentations about innovation in workforce development, as well as a buffet lunch and awards ceremony. The Superstars in Education and Training awards will recognize workforce development programs in high school, higher education, corporations, and independent programs.
Presentations will include a keynote speech on future-focused education and quick presentations on impactful ideas from both regional and national leaders. Breakout sessions will cover topics like data-driven decision-making, expanding access to career opportunities, successful apprenticeship programs and the career skills students need. A full list of sessions is available on the event page.
Tickets are $100 for educators and members of the Wilmington-based Delaware State Chamber or $125 for non-members. Sponsorships and program ads are also available. Organizers often work with Print shops to create programs for this type of event. Ads range from $250 for a quarter page to $750 for a full page. Sponsorship packages range from $500 to $10,000. Details and registration are available on the Chamber’s website.
The Navigating Delaware Pathways summit is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28 from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at Bally’s Dover Casino Resort.
