Wilmington Chamber to gather for annual dinner

The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 189th Annual Dinner in Wilmington this January.

The event will include a cocktail reception, speeches, an awards ceremony and a sit-down dinner. The cocktail reception will begin at 4:00 pm, and welcome remarks start at 5:20 pm. Chamber of Commerce members often use business card printing services to prepare for networking sessions at this type of event.

The chairman, president and CEO of WSFS Financial Corporation, Rodger Levenson, will give the keynote talk. Delaware Government Matt Meyer has also been invited to give a short speech. The Chamber will present the Josiah Marvel Cup, which it considers the highest business honor in Delaware. The Cup is named after the first president of the modern Delaware Chamber and recognizes a person who has made an exceptional contribution to the state. The honoree will be announced at the event.

Tickets are available on the Chamber’s website now for $395 per person or $3950 per table of 10. Interested businesses can also sign up to sponsor the dinner on the website. Sponsorship packages range from $500 to $20,000. Companies can email the Chamber for more information about these options.

The 189th Annual Dinner will take place on Monday, January 12, from 4:00 pm to 7:15 pm at Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington.
