Wilmington Chamber to host manufacturing conference

The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce (DSCC) is hosting its Spring Manufacturing and Policy Conference in a few weeks’ time.

The conference is designed to highlight the importance of manufacturing to Delaware’s economy. It will feature networking opportunities and a keynote address from the governor of Delaware. Attendees will include manufacturing professionals, plant managers, and those involved in policymaking at the state and local levels.

The winner of the Coolest Thing Made in Delaware contest will also be announced during the event. This competition is intended to bring more visibility to products manufactured in Delaware. The winner is decided by a bracket-style online vote, with the first round of votes being completed earlier this week. Details and rules for the contest are available on the Chamber’s website.

Tickets are available on the Chamber’s website now for $75 for members and $100 for guests. The fee for an exhibit table is $250 for members and $350 for non-members. Exhibitors often give out promotional Pens and other marketing materials at this type of event.

Sponsorship packages range from $500 to $2,500. Businesses interested in sponsoring the conference or hosting an exhibit table can contact the Chamber, which is headquartered here in Wilmington, to discuss details.

The Spring Manufacturing and Policy Conference will take place on Thursday, March 26 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, at Delaware Technical Community College in Dover.
