The Delaware Chamber of Commerce is gathering for its Superstars in Business Awards in Wilmington this October.
The event will include lunch, a keynote address and the presentation of eight awards. Chris Schell, the CEO of Schell Brothers, will give the keynote. Schell began his career in finance before launching a homebuilding business that prioritizes employee and customer happiness. He has also served on a variety of boards, including the University of Delaware’s Board of Trustees, and is currently on the Chamber’s Board of Governors.
The Chamber will present the Superstars in Business and the Award of Excellence, each to a nonprofit and a small, medium and large business. This year’s Superstars in Business recipients are the Food Bank of Delaware, Synergy Consultants & Psychotherapy, First Ascent and GGA Construction. The Award of Excellence will go to Sunday Breakfast Mission, Integrity Nursing, Delmarva Central Railroad and AKA Advisory.
Tickets are on sale now for $100 per Chamber member or $135 per non-member. Tables of 10 are also available for $1000 for members or $ 1,350 for guests. Sponsorship packages are available, as well as ad space in the Superstars in Business program. Ad prices range from $250 to $750 depending on size. Event planners often use printing services to create this type of program.
The 28th Annual Superstars in Business Awards event will be on Thursday, October 26, from 11:15 am to 1:45 pm, at Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington.
