Waterbury holiday market reaches seventh year

The 7th Annual Artisan Market will be held late fall at historic City Hall in Waterbury.

The event will have a local craftsmen and artists displaying a variety of merchandise. There will be trucks along Grand Street serving a variety of food and beverages.

Artists and craftsmen will display holiday decorations, ornaments, toys, wreaths, baked goods and candy. There will be clothing, fiber arts, gourmet food products, furniture, photography, art, leather goods, soap and cosmetics, jewelry, lawn ornaments, garden tools, and pottery.

Last year, the market attracted over 2,000 shoppers and more are expected this year. A variety of food trucks will be available to serve different types of food parked along Grand Street near City Hall. Hungry guests can chose from the likes of pizza, hotdogs, hamburgers, sandwiches, tacos, cupcakes, kebabs, barbecued meats, seafood, fries, pastries, coffee, soda, chicken, pulled pork, turkey, brisket, and meatball subs. At the same time, they can listen to live music outdoors.

Free parking will be available for customers downtown and at the Buckingham Parking Garage one block from City Hall on Field Street. Waterbury has printers with graphic design departments that provide Logo Design and assist with advertising for events like this.

The Waterbury 7th Annual Artisans Marketplace will be held on November 23 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Waterbury City Hall at 235 Grand Street.
