The Palace Theater in Waterbury is offering a lively spring lineup of jazz, talent shows, children’s entertainment and a trivia night.
It begins next Friday, May 3, when from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon, the Palace Theater will have its monthly guided tour. Guests can ;earn about the history and explore the unique architecture of the theater, which has a large lobby, dome ceiling, and a combination of several architectural styles.
Soon after, 2nd Act, a monthly speaker series with inspirational stories, will have Jeff Savage speaking. The former lawyer and CEO investment banker, who is currently a professional actor, will entertain on May 7 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The evening will include a presentation and Q & A session, and light fare will be served.
Palace Pursuit: Trivia Night will be held on May 9 from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. A cocktail hour with pizza takes place before the game. Registration is required and there are prizes for the winning teams.
On May 10, as part of the Spring Jazz Series, June Bisantz and Alex Nakhimovsky will perform at 7:00 to 8:30 pm, and 9:00 to 10:30 pm. Attendees can expect original Latin jazz song on the theme of love.
Palace 10.4, or The Party at the Palace, will be celebrated on May 17 from 5:00 pm until midnight. The event has six parties with food, drink, and entertainment to celebrate the end of the year’s season.
