Hiking event to teach languages of love

A self-guided hiking event is being organized on several weekends for couples who wish to celebrate their relationship.

These hikes are a special type of date night. They will feature different activities based on the five “languages” that the couples will be shown how to “speak.” All they need to carry is a mobile device that has an internet connection and access to the Digital Nite Box (DNB) app.

The DNB app will show the couples how to cover all five love languages in one night to create a magical night.

The first love language of the night will be quality time. This will be communicated by spending time together on the hike. Discount codes on the app can be used to purchase food and snacks.

The second love language is acts of service. Customized coupons for massages on the application can be shared among couples.

The third love language is words of affirmation. Motivational audiobooks can be downloaded to listen to during the hike.

The couples are advised to carry photos with inspirational messages on them to communicate the fourth love language – gifting. Fun games in the app will cover the last love language, which is physical touch.

The hikes will be held on several dates until the end of December, with more details available on Eventbrite. The hiking trails are located in the Naugatuck Area a few miles north of Waterbury. Sign and poster printing can often draw attention to events like this.
