Fall festival returns to Bristol

A new Fall Festival and Fire Show will be held later this month by Imagine Nation, A Museum Early Learning Center in Bristol. This is sufficiently close to Waterbury that many from this community will want to mark their Calendars and attend.

There will family fun and games in the afternoon, followed by a Fire Show performance at sunset, with a pizza party before the show. Among the fall festivities are a pumpkin pancakes cooking class, the Bristol Old Time Fiddlers, the building of scarecrows, face painting, and apple tasting. Also planned is a special hands-on activity with the Bristol Garden Club.

Participants are encouraged to dress as farmers for a unique fall photo opportunity and to try on coats, blankets, and chairs for the outdoor fire show.

Admission for the event is $15 for nonmembers and $5 for members, and includes access to the museum all day, the fall festival actives, the fire show, and a drink and slice of pizza prior to the show.

Sponsors of the event include Imagine Nation, A Museum Early Learning Center (which is a division of the Bristol Family Center’s Boys & Girls Club) and the Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation.

The Fall Festival and Fire Show will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 pm on Saturday, October 27.

Organizers of events like these often use flyer printing to promote themselves both within the community and in surrounding areas.
