Wedding boutique to help Middletown cancer center

The Wedding Dress, LLC will celebrate its 21st birthday next month by holding a gala, which will benefit the Middlesex Health Cancer Center in Middletown.

The Wedding Dress is a wedding boutique by veteran fashion designer Shelley Bailey, whose skills run the gamut from designer athletic wear to formal Apparel. Bailey founded The Wedding Dress to give brides an intimate place to find carefully curated bridal Apparel and receive personalized tailor services. The bridal boutique is frequently involved in charitable causes, which is why proceeds from the shop’s birthday celebration will go towards supporting the Middlesex Health Cancer Center.

The gala will be a black-tie event and will feature many small businesses. There will be five hours of open bar hosted by Two Pour Guys Bartending, a high-end bartending company. Food will be catered by Bourassa Catering, a gourmet catering company that specializes in seasonally inspired food. Dessert will be served by Kim's Cottage Confections, which offers custom and specialty cakes and desserts.

Benefit galas often invite well-known patrons or philanthropists, so organizers of such events may take advantage of the services Stationery printers offer to create custom Invitations.

The Wedding Dress's Birthday Gala is scheduled for March 10 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. It will take place at the Wadsworth Mansion at Long Hill. Tickets are $125.
