Wadsworth Mansion to host open-air market

The grounds of Middleton’s historic Wadsworth Mansion will serve as the setting for a large community marketplace and cultural gathering this summer.

Attendees will be able to browse a wide selection of agricultural products, baked goods, specialty foods, handcrafted artwork, jewelry, pottery, home décor, textiles, and wellness items. Vendors are expected to represent a broad range of industries, including local farms, artisan food producers, craftspeople, and community organizations.

Live entertainment is scheduled throughout the event, including a performance by the Middletown Symphonic Band from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm. Additional musical programming is expected later in the afternoon. Guided tours of the mansion will also be available, providing visitors with an opportunity to learn about the property's history and architecture.

Families are encouraged to attend, with activities available for children and opportunities to enjoy the grounds, art displays, shopping, and outdoor dining. Leashed pets will be permitted in outdoor areas. Shuttle transportation will operate between designated parking locations and the venue to assist visitors.

Community festivals of this size often utilize banner printing, directional signage, and promotional displays to help manage traffic flow and communicate event information to attendees.

Free to attend, the Open Air Market & Festival will take place on August 30 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Wadsworth Mansion, 421 Wadsworth St, Middletown, Connecticut.
