Hands-on baking event planned in Middletown

LA Page Makeup LLC will host a Galentine’s Day cookie-decorating class ahead of Valentine’s Day.

The event is designed as an interactive social experience open to participants of all ages. It will blend culinary instruction with a relaxed, celebratory atmosphere.

The class will be led by Danielle, owner and baker behind Sweet Pea and Poppy Cookie Co. She will guide attendees through the creation of six individually styled cookies inspired by beauty motifs and romantic design elements. Participants will receive step-by-step instruction and hands-on support throughout the session, with an emphasis on technique, presentation, and personal expression rather than speed or competition.

All materials required for decorating will be provided on site, allowing guests to focus solely on the creative process. At the conclusion of the workshop, each attendee will leave with their cookies and a curated gift bag. Organizers describe the environment as welcoming and collaborative, suitable for friends, family members, or individuals attending on their own.

Tickets are $70, with an additional $6.54 service fee. Ticket sales close on February 1, and the event follows a no-refund policy. Banner printing is commonly used at events like this to reinforce the studio's branding within the venue.

The Galentine’s Day Cookie Class takes place on Wednesday, February 4, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at LA Page Makeup Beauty Studio, 387 South Main St, Unit 1, Middletown. In the event of winter weather disruptions, a backup session has been scheduled for the following Wednesday.
