Scrapbooking fundraiser set to return near Middletown

Middletown scrapbookers have been invited to grab their scissors and other tools and head to Wallingford for a full day of crafting, camaraderie, and just plain fun.

For the past eight years, the Sheehan High School Music Parents Association (MPA) has offered its scrapbooking fundraiser, and it will soon be back for its 9th year. As in the past, each participants can book their own space, and while they work, they can soak up the creative energy the atmosphere will supply.

While the scrapbookers who attend are welcome to bring along their own supplies, anyone who would like to make some additions to their collection can do so at the Premier Designs, Stampn’ Up!, Creative Memories, and 31 Bags vendor spaces that will be set up for the day, along with an onsite Memories R’Us station. A licensed massage therapist will be circulating through the crowd in the afternoon, offering chair massages to anyone who could use a bit of relaxation.

The price to reserve a crafting space for this occasion is $45 each. An event like this can be a lot of fun, and a colorful piece from a banner printing company can welcome all those who take part in the activities.

Anyone who has questions about the MPA Scrapbooking Day Fundraiser has been asked to contact cjmyers7@comcast.net. It will be held on February 24 at 142 Hope Hill Road.
