A session that will combine creativity with relaxation is currently accepting registrations, and this Middletown workshop can help the participants to destress before the upcoming holiday season.
The Mala Making Workshop planned by Starr Mill Yoga will be a hands-on activity, and the completed mala (a beaded necklace often used in yoga) can be kept or given as a gift to someone special. It will include details about the history and culture of malas, and the event will run for approximately two hours.
The cost of the materials needed to complete the project is included in the $45 registration fee, and both wooden and stone beads will be used. Ritual Earth Tea will be poured for the enjoyment of the assembled group, and if they cannot complete their piece in the time allotted, they will be able to take it home with them so they can finish it up later.
This sort of function can be both fun and relaxing, and it also offers an opportunity for the participants to meet new people. A flyer printing company will be able to aid in promoting it to the local area.
This Mala Making Workshop will be on offer at Starr Mill Yoga on November 1, and everyone is asked to be on site by 2:00 pm. The venue can be found at 91 Beverly Heights in Middletown.
