A Middletown area celebration will soon be giving local foodies a reason to smile. An area farm will be the location for a huge food truck rally, and some of the area’s top mobile food vendors will be on site for the festivities.
The gates of Lyman Orchards’ Food Truck on the Farm will open at 11:00 am, and when they do, they guests will be able to choose from an enormous selection of freshly prepared food as well as craft beers and other beverages. The list of participants is growing, and they are just the start of the excitement that will be on offer.
The whole family is welcome to attend the celebration, and the plans for the day include pumpkin and apple picking, and visits to a corn maze are also on offer. Pony rides and rides in a horse drawn wagon will be available, and a portion of the monies raised during the day will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
By showcasing the wide selection of agricultural products that are produced in an area, this sort of celebration can demonstrate the benefits of choosing local. A printing services company will be able to create and install vehicle wraps on any of the food truck that take part, which can help them to look their best for the occasion.
This chance for the public to sample some of what the Middletown area has to offer will he held on October 26. Lyman orchards is located at 32 Reeds Gap Rd in Middlefield.
