The Middletown Food Truck Festival will take place next month to provide the community with a chance to enjoy the rest of summer by eating tasty local bits and enjoying family-friendly entertainment and activities.
The festival will be presented by Eastside Festivals and sponsored by the City of Middletown. Free to the public, the event will feature all the flavor and fun of a fair without the chaotic hustle and bustle of an actual fair. Being an outdoor event, attendees are also encouraged to bring their own chairs, blankets, and other supplies to enjoy the festival comfortably.
There will be a whole food truck convoy offering a variety of different cuisines and street food. Children will enjoy the Kids Portal, which will include a bouncy house, balloon animals, face painting, and henna tattoos. The band Styff Kitty will be playing an electric rock lineup throughout the day, and there will also be retail and craft vendor booths to peruse.
Participating vendors at such festivals may take the time to update their Business Cards, which they can give out to festival attendees that visit their booths.
The food truck fest is scheduled for August 17 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. It will be held at 49 Bernie Orourke Drive. Should inclement weather occur, the festival will be held on the following day.
