Eco-Apparel shop cinder + salt will host a trail clean-up event next month in Middletown to gather volunteers together to clean up trails in an area state park.
The shop offers the public eco-friendly Apparel and sustainable living products, and it frequently participates in eco-friendly events such as the trail clean-up. The event will be in conjunction with The Rockfall Foundation, which is one of the state’s oldest non-profits that works to promote natural resource conservation, environmental education, and sustainable development.
The clean-up event will take place inside the Wadsworth Falls State Park, where the cinder + salt team will be set up by the main parking lot. The team will provide volunteers with all the required supplies and gear, including gloves, buckets, and trash grabbers. However, due to COVID-19 concerns, there will be no water or refreshments provided, so attendees are encouraged to bring their own. The event is kid friendly, so organizers encourage families to attend. Volunteers who register by one week before the event will receive a complimentary T-shirt with the event-specific Logo Design.
The trail clean-up will take place on Saturday, October 15, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Wadsworth Fall State Park is located on 721 Wadsworth Street, Middletown. The event is free to attend, but potential volunteers will need to register on Eventbrite to receive their free shirts.
