Middletown residents encouraged to get flu shots

Flu season is not far away, and Middletown residents who want to make sure they are well prepared may want to head to one of the vaccination clinics set up for the community.

The schedule for the 2020 Seasonal Flu Vaccination Clinics has been posted, and there will be nine dates for the public to choose from. They will be offered at an assortment of locations, and everyone who is 18 years of age or older and in good health is strongly encouraged to get their shot.

Everyone who attends one of the clinics is asked to bring their insurance card, and in most cases, it will cover the complete cost of the vaccination. Appointments are not needed, and proof of residency will not be required. Social distancing protocols and masks are mandatory, and anyone who intends to take advantage of this offer is asked to keep this in mind.

A health initiative like this usually needs to be promoted to the community, and a poster printing company will be able to assist the organizers in this area. It can prepare a variety of materials publications, which can then be posted throughout the area.

These opportunities for locals to take a proactive step to protect their health will be on offer up until November 10th. A full listing of each of the dates and locations, along with details about how the participants can skip the line, is available on the Middletown website.
