Wesleyan University is a private liberal arts college located in Middletown and housed on a picturesque 316-acre historic New England campus. It prides itself on providing interdisciplinary learning and a welcoming, collaborative educational environment for its student body of approximately 200 graduate students and 3,000 undergraduate students.
The university in conjunction with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology will be offering the STEM bootcamp program to area veterans and service members free of charge as way to help prepare these prospective students interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a rigorous STEM subject. The week-long program will utilize a physics-based curriculum to teach skills that will help servicemembers transition from a military life to the world of academia and higher education. Students will be taught by experienced professors from the university's partner college and mentored by previous students of the program.
Organizers of college events will often advertise event specifics through Brochures, which can be printed at Print shops specializing in professional brochure printing services.
The STEM bootcamp is scheduled for June 4 through June 9, although these dates are subject to change. Wesleyan University is located at 70 Wyllys Avenue.
