This April, The Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown will host Daffodil Day, its annual spring festival, with something for the whole family to enjoy.
The festival is a family-friendly event that is held rain or shine and is free to the public, although donations are greatly appreciated. The event will feature live music from Anna May Music who specializes in fresh interpretations of folk music and jazz. Attendees will also be able to participate in guided tours of The Wadsworth Mansion led by the Friends of Long Hill Estate.
Other activities include a vernal pool exploration and education by Everyone Outside staff, a raptor demonstration by Blue Moon Raptors, and meet-and-greets with the representatives from Middletown’s Pollinator Pathway organization
The Franks Woodfired Pizza Truck and Skyscraper Sandwich Truck will be set up in front of the Mansion Circle to sell tasty bites to hungry attendees. The New England Coffee Guy will be set up inside the Mansion selling locally roasted coffee of different varieties.

The Daffodil Day event is scheduled for April 21 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The Wadsworth Mansion is located at 421 Wadsworth Street. Attendees are also encouraged to bring kites to fly on the grounds.
