A tasty fundraiser is planning its return to the Middletown area.
The ‘Taste of Weatherfield’ fundraiser is set to return for its 14th year, and all local foodies are invited to grab their forks and head on over for an evening of food, drinks and friendship.
Chefs from throughout the local area will be showing off their culinary talents during the event, and each ticket purchased will entitle the bearer to sample all the food and drinks. The plans for this 21 years and up event also include a silent auction, and both general admission and patron passes are available.
Guests at the function will be invited to sample as much of the food and beverages as they wish, and there will also be a selection of live entertainment to help build the festive atmosphere of the occasion. Both lot and on-street parking is available, and public transit can also be used by anyone who would prefer to leave their vehicle at home.
This evening celebration of the area’s culinary community has been planned by the Wethersfield Historical Society. Pamphlets that provide more information about the group and what it does in can be prepared to hand out during an event like this by a brochure printing professional.
The Keeney Memorial Cultural Center in Wethersfield will be welcoming guests on April 6, beginning at 7:00 pm. Tickets start at $30.
