Donate Life Connecticut will hold its 2nd Annual Autumn Garden Party next month in Middletown to raise money for the organization’s mission.
The Connecticut Coalition for Organ and Tissue Donation, or Donate Life Connecticut, is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate the public on organ, eye, and tissue donation and the importance of it in saving lives. The organization is made up of transplant recipients, donor families, and allied health professionals who all work together to advance communications concerning organ donations and the integral role they play in the health of a community.
The Donate Life Connecticut Garden Party is the annual fundraiser of the organization to support its public outreach programs. The party will take place at the Wadsworth Mansion at Long Hill and will feature farm-to-table food plus curated craft cocktails. Guests will enjoy the performance of comedian Alonzo Bodden, as well as a silent auction featuring special gifts and travel packages.
