Many Connecticut parrots and their human companions are getting excited, as an event planned with them in mind is just around the corner.
Featherfest is scheduled to make its return to Middletown this March, and bird parents from across the state are invited to flock together for a full day of fun.
For Fatherfest’s 13th year, the organizers have worked hard to create a special experience for the feathery set. Whether they have a tiny budgie or parrotlet, an African grey, or a huge hyacinth macaw, it will be a place for bird lovers to learn, connect and pick up some treats for their feathered friends, and there will also be presentations and other activities.
While the attendees browse through the vendor displays, sit in on a workshop or just hang out with other parrot lovers, they can enjoy some live music, try their luck in the raffle and learn more about bird care.
The day is being hosted by the CT Parrot Society, which will have information on offer about its birds up for adoption that need a loving home. Providing each person at an event like this with materials created by a brochure printing company can help those who are interested learn more about the commitment that goes along with being a parrot parent.
This year’s Featherfest Expo will be welcoming bird nerds from across the state on March 21. Middletown’s Elks Club will act as the venue for the day.
