Middletown area horse rescue planning afternoon of holiday fun

The holidays are on the way, and a Middletown area not-for-profit that gives draft horses a second lease on life has planned a fundraising celebration in honor of the season.

The whole family is welcome to join in the excitement that will be on offer as part of the fundraiser that can help save the lives of abused and neglected draft horses. It will include all of the activities that can be expected at a holiday-themed function, as well as some special extra added touches.

Admission to the event is free, and there will be plenty going on to keep the whole family entertained. A vendor alley will be set up, and both Santa and Mrs. Claus will on hand for photo ops. There will lots of food on offer, and some lucky winners will be going home with a raffle prize. Organizing this type of function can be made easier with the assistance of a printing services company.

While there is no charge to attend the celebration, those who would like to give the horses at Connecticut Draft Horse Rescue a little bit of extra love can bring along a donation. The organization has a list of items it needs the most, and this is included on its website.

December 7 will be the date for this fundraiser held in support of horses who are in need of a second chance. It will be offered at 113 Chestnut Hill Road in East Hampton.
