The sound meditation will take place at the Lyman Orchards Golf Club to celebrate this year’s Strawberry Moon, which is the second supermoon of the year. The term “Strawberry Moon” was termed by various indigenous groups in reference to the ripening of strawberries in June.
Some people believe the moon at this time is imbued with a heightened lunar energy that helps people tap into a higher consciousness, accessed through meditative behavior. The sound meditation will be led by The Conduit, a sound meditation studio. Attendees will experience the soothing sounds of singing bowls and live gongs that are supposed to help one achieve a deep meditative state.
