In February, Middletown’s Russel Library will be hosting a special event that can show kids just how much fun a visit to the facility can be. It will be for kids who are between ages 5 and 12, and mom or dad are also welcome.
The library’s staff are inviting kids to pay a visit to Fairyland, and a special party has been planned in honor of the occasion. The children will enjoy some hands-on fun, and local Poet Laureate Cheryl Anne Hale will be paying a visit as well.
The kids will all be able to make a fairy wand, and there will also be a variety of games and other activities to keep the little ones entertained. Pre-registration is not necessary, but there will only be enough supplies available for the first 40 children to arrive for the celebration.
The library will be offering its Fancy Fairy Party in its Activity Room, and its scheduled start time is 2:00 pm. A banner printing company can prepare a festive, glittery fairy banner for this sort of function, and these can add an extra touch of whimsy to the occasion.
Russell Library will be welcoming local fairies for its annual Take Your Child to the Library Day on February 1. All families are welcome to fly in for this afternoon of fairy-themed fun.
