CT Law Enforcement Memorial Run gives support

Connecticut residents will gather this October, for the CT Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Run (CTLEOMR), a 5K honoring officers lost in the line of duty.

It will be Hosted at the Wadsworth Mansion at Long Hill Estate in Middletown. The event will support the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) and Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS). Proceeds contribute to memorial preservation, survivor assistance programs, and officer legacy education.

Open to the public, the event invites both law enforcement professionals and supporters of all ages to participate. Competitive runners and casual walkers alike are welcome. Awards will be presented to division winners, the fastest law enforcement team, top individual officer, and best-performing K9 officer. The certified 5K course starts at the mansion and follows a 3.1-mile route.

The schedule begins at 8 am with packet pickup and same-day registration. A pre-race ceremony including a flag presentation and remarks will start at 9:45 am, followed by the race at 10 am. An awards ceremony is set for 11 am, with the post-race celebration beginning at 11:30 am.

Hosts will want to keep individuals informed about the details of race events and flyer printing can be an ideal way to do so.

The CTLEOMR will take place on October 26th, from 10 am to 12 pm at Wadsworth Mansion, 421 Wadsworth Street, Middletown, Connecticut. Registration is $33.85 for adults and $15 for participants under 14. Race will take place no matter the weather.
